Justin McDonald is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 20 years of experience in the human services and behavioral health fields. He received his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and obtained his LPC in 2012. Justin works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are struggling with a variety of mental health, substance abuse, and interpersonal problems. His areas of clinical interest include depression, anxiety, anger management, marital conflict, stress management, substance use disorders, and self-improvement. Justin uses an “eclectic” approach to therapy, and common elements of this approach include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral interventions, structural/strategic family therapy, humanistic / person-centered counseling, mindfulness / meditation, and positive psychology.
