Sam Fuge is a Nationally Certified Counselor working toward licensure. He received his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Messiah College in 2021. He holds an undergraduate degree in Music Education from West Virginia University. Sam worked as a high-school band director for several years before changing careers to work as a paramedic for over a decade. Sam’s eclectic experiences give him a wealth of knowledge of life, human interaction, and trauma. His areas of clinical interest include trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, personality disorders, existential problems, and self-improvement. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses a combination of Gestalt, psychodynamic, internal family systems (IFS), and existential modalities of therapy.
